Crèche finds potential customers across Europe online
Rachel Lavaux is Director of Luxembourg City’s Frimousses Crèche, which looks after toddlers aged two to four years old. Launching with two staff in 2010, today Rachel employs 10 people. The nursery has had an online presence – and a Google AdWords account – since it opened. Rachel explains: “Over two-thirds of calls about signing up come via AdWords. We get calls from parents and future parents in Spain, Germany and England who are considering a move to Luxembourg. Thanks to AdWords, our nursery gets exposure in all these countries.”
Rachel reckons Frimousses has as much online visibility as some of the big nursery chains: “When people look for a nursery, they want to know two things above all: where it is and how much it costs. Thanks to keywords, AdWords campaigns answer these questions perfectly, and thanks to Google Maps, they’ve got all they need to know.” With greater visibility and more sign-ups, turnover keeps going up. So as well as regularly taking on more staff, Rachel is even managing to increase their pay.
